Die Video-Installation »The Spirits That I Called« ist eine Weiterentwicklung der Arbeit »Hidden Layers«. Auf der Basis von Video-Aufnahmen realer Schauspieler werden mithilfe einer Video-KI Porträts mit starken Emotionen entwickelt. Das Gesicht des Schauspielers, eigentlich ein Instrument zur Darstellung unterschiedlicher Gefühle, wird zum Bildträger artifiziell erzeugter Emotionen.

The video installation »The Spirits That I Called« is a further development of the work »Hidden Layers«. Using video footage of real actors, video AI is used to create portraits that convey strong emotions. The actor‘s face, actually an instrument for the representation of different feelings, becomes the carrier of artificially generated emotions.
